From restoring 1,600 hectares of degraded mangroves in Clarendon to pioneering medical research that enhances brain function in children, UWI SODECO’s 2025 Annual Report showcases a landmark year of translational science. Operating through our dual divisions of Solutions for Medicine and Solutions for Society , we have successfully completed a major clinical trial in Bangladesh and are now entering the final year of our EXCORE study to improve adult cognition in Jamaica. Guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals , our work continues to leverage a global network of scientific excellence to solve the complex challenges facing developing nations.
