This study investigates whether structured aerobic exercise can improve cognitive function and emotional regulation in adults who survived severe childhood malnutrition. With growing evidence that malnutrition causes long-term brain and muscle impairments, the study will track changes in cognition, insulin sensitivity, and myokine production among 144 participants over six months. If successful, it could mark the first scalable intervention to remediate cognitive deficits in this population.
